SJP Appointed Representatives Group Claim
Background
We are gathering details of former appointed representatives (ARs) of St. James's Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) who may wish to join a group legal action against SJP.
Over the past couple of years, hundreds of SJP ARs have had their contracts with SJP suspended or terminated. Many others have left SJP voluntarily. In many cases, SJP has then transferred the clients of those ARs to other SJP advisors without paying fair compensation.
If SJP has not paid fair compensation to ARs who have lost their businesses in this way, we believe those ARs can bring a good claim against SJP to recover the value they have lost.
Eligibility
If you are a former or current SJP AR and you had some or all of your practice taken from you by SJP, you may be able to join this group claim.
You may have lost your practice because of a “compliance investigation”, a finding that you were not “fit and proper”, or because you tried to leave SJP voluntarily by giving notice, or otherwise.
No matter the reasons given by SJP, if SJP took your clients and your fees without compensation, then we believe you can join this claim.
